A VP Bank–sponsored fellowship for unpublished and self-published writers aged 18+ who are citizens, belongers or residents of the Virgin Islands.

The VP Bank BVI Emerging Writers’ Fellowship

The fellowship supports Virgin Islands writers at the start of their journey with mentorship, festival access and the chance to share work alongside visiting authors. Fellows are announced at the Book Brunch on the festival’s final day.

Tickets for evening events are sold by H. Lavity Stoutt Community College and are non-refundable except where an event is cancelled by the organisers. The programme, speakers and venues are subject to change without notice. By attending you consent to being photographed or filmed for festival documentation and promotion. Fellowship applicants retain full copyright in submitted work; the festival may quote excerpts when announcing fellows.

Privacy Policy

We collect only the information you give us — your name, contact details and any application materials — to run the festival, process fellowship applications and, where you opt in, send you updates. We do not sell your data. Application files are stored securely and deleted twelve months after the fellowship is awarded. To access or remove your data, email info@bvilitfest.com.
