Lisa Ann Violet

Lisa A. Violet is the inaugural chief executive officer of the Virgin Islands Deposit Insurance Corporation (VIDIC), a newly formed statutory body. She is a chartered professional accountant, c-suite executive and independent board director experienced in financial services, technology sector, fintech, Big 4 Firm consultancy and government sponsored entities. Prior to VIDIC, Ms. Violet was the inaugural chief auditor of the history making Varo Money, Inc, the first fintech to gain a national bank charter in the United States of America. Her other professional roles include Chief Risk Officer of the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco, Chief Auditor & VP of Business Continuity of the tech company, Hitachi Vantara, and leadership positions at Wells Fargo, MUFG, Scotia Capital, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Lisa is a financial expert with domain depth in bank regulation, commercial and consumer banking. She is a global citizen and is proficient in Spanish.
