J’kyla Rogers is an emerging talent from the British Virgin Islands (BVI), making notable strides in marine and environmental conservation. A recent graduate of the General Science programme at H. Lavity Stoutt Community College (HLSCC) and PADI certified specialty and rescue diver, she has contributed to the study of coastal ecosystems and vital projects like mangrove habitat restoration. J’kyla has been an intern and research assistant with the Centre for Applied Marine Studies (CAMS) Mangrove Nursery team since 2020. She is known for her dedication, innovation, and commitment to environmental education and is poised to make a lasting impact in her field.
