  • Colin O’Neal, CEO of JOMA Properties Ltd.

    Colin O’Neal is a lawyer and business executive. He founded and practiced in the law firm of O’Neal Webster for approximately twenty years before becoming Chief Executive Officer of JOMA (Properties) Ltd., a family-owned real estate development and management company in the British Virgin Islands.  

    JOMA has roots in commerce in the British Virgin Islands going back over eighty years, including real estate development activity for more than fifty years, with early projects such as the J.R. O’Neal Building (Harneys) in 1965 and the reclamation of Port Purcell in 1970, to recent developments such as the Walkers Building, Road Reef Plaza, Commerce House and Port Purcell East (Cocoplum and Oleander) buildings, and several others. 

    Besides his legal and business careers, he has a longstanding and continuing involvement in public service through the many appointments and offices held, including Magistrate, President of the BVI Bar Association, Chairman of the Public Service Commission, membership on the Judicial and Legal Services Commission, Chairman of the Recreation Trust, Deputy Chairman of the Financial Services Commission among several other appointments, past and present.  

    He has a keen interest in real estate development, political economy, architecture, and urban planning.
