Chris Jackson is Executive Vice President, Publisher, and Editor-in-Chief of One World and Roc Lit 101, imprints of Random House, a division of Penguin Random House. Over his career Chris has edited and published a wide range of bestselling and award-winning authors, including Ta-Nehisi Coates, Bryan Stevenson, Nikole Hannah-Jones, Karla Cornejo Villavicencio, Cathy Park Hong, Prince, Jay-Z, Wes Moore, Trevor Noah, Ibram X. Kendi, Victor LaValle, Heather McGhee and Eddie Huang. He is the recipient of the Center for Fiction Medal for Editorial Excellence, the Authors Guild Publisher Award for Literature that Inspires Change, and the Asian American Writer’s Workshop Editorial Achievement Award, and was named one of Time Magazine’s “12 Leaders Who Are Shaping the Next Generation of Artists.” His own writing has appeared in magazines and journals including The Paris Review, O: The Oprah Magazine, Callaloo, and The Atlantic.
