- Rossa Canavan, Relationship Manager, VP Bank (BVI) Ltd
Rossa joined VP Bank in 2019 as a Relationship Manager and is responsible for private banking, asset management and investment consultancy for private and institutional investors. Rossa began his career in 2009 with Merrill Lynch (Dublin) in the Capital Markets division where he assisted institutional clients settle interest rate derivative products following the fallout of the global credit crisis. In 2011, he joined Barclays Capital (London) and worked in the Risk Solutions Group, a cross product & FX hedging desk within the investment banking division. In 2013, Rossa took a role with Barclays Corporate Bank and was later promoted to Vice President where he was responsible for a team dedicated to the remediation of mis-selling of interest rate swaps. Rossa holds an MSc in International Business and a BA in Economics and Sociology. He recently completed the Certificate in Regulatory Compliance from the International Compliance Association (ICA).
